新しい弦（Peter Infeld）

先日、パート練習の途中でチューニングをしたとき、自分自身のA/Eの解放和音(5度)が取れず、先生から「A線、古いの？」とのお言葉。
「いえ、そうなんですけどそうじゃないんです」・・・って訳わからないですね。
弦を変えたのはつい3日ほど前なんですが、楽器ケースで4～5年ほど寝かしていた予備弦を張ったんです。弦って長期保存しておくとおかしくなるモノなんですねぇ。予備弦も時々入れかえないと・・・。
さて、というわけで新たに弦を注文しましたが、今回はドミナントでおなじみの「トマスティーク-インフェルド社」社の新製品、その名も「PETER INFELD」を買ってみました。
どうやらこの弦、同社のハイエンドになるようで、ライバル社ピラストロの「エヴァ・ピラッツィ」同様社長さんの名を冠しているようです。
お値段は、定価ベースで、11，235円と、ドミナントと比べると約三割高。実売で比べるとエヴァ・ピラッツィよりはちょっと安く、オブリガードクラスといったところでしょうか？
G,A,D,Eの4本セットを買ったのですが、なんと紙の外箱入り。無駄に豪華です(笑)
また、A線がアルミ巻き、D,G線がシルバー巻きと、そこまでは普通の弦ですが、E線がなんとプラチナメッキ。
音に良いのか悪いのか、よくわかりませんが、なんとなく高級そうです。
さて、いざ張ってみると、弾くまでもなくドミナントやインフェルドRed/Blueと明確に違う点が。
ドミナントの場合、コマ側の巻き糸がカラフルで、ペグ側の巻き糸は紫一色なんですが、コイツの場合逆で、ペグ側がカラフルになっています。・・・もしかしてピラストロを意識してる？
で、あとは肝腎の音ですね。
実は、張ったのは昨日の朝で今日は2日目。
気になるチューニングの安定度ですが、まだ若干下がる傾向にあるものの、だいたい安定したようです。ドミナント並といったところでしょうか。
音色は、前に使っていたオンボロシノクサ(シノクサが悪い訳じゃありません。楽器ケースの中で腐らせた僕が悪いんです。念のため・・・)と比べるのもアレですが、それよりも、さらにその前に使っていたドミナントよりもかなりクッキリ立つ気がします。
基本的にはドミナントの延長っぽいですが、それに加え「軽いけど伸びている」感じ。心なしか運弓が軽い気がします。(弦が新品で、松脂が付着していないせいかもしれませんが・・・)
e線ですが、音自体は下の弦同様クッキリ系。シノクサ・ドミナントと比べると気持～ち裏返りやすい気がしますが、それは僕の腕のせいって事で・・・
あとは、「寿命が短いと言われるドミナントと比べて、どのくらい持つか」ですが・・・
僕の場合少なくとも来月の本番までは持つでしょうが、腕に覚えがない＋駄耳の僕の場合、経年劣化に対する有意差がどれだけ出るか・・・気が向いたらレポートしますがあまりアテにしないでいてください。
